Edwin Lunes defines himself as a part-time model, stylist and vlogger. Edwin stays busy! In addition to working on his passion, he also works part-time at Sephora and as a Henna artist. In 2014 he started his modeling career, working for a tuxedo rentals company in Phoenix. In 2016 Edwin won Mr. Teen Latino USA and soon after he found himself doing skits, print work and videos for a production company, which had led him to even more professional fashion runways.
For five years Edwin has been recognized in and out of Arizona as a multicultural Instagram influencer in the health and beauty industry. He is proud that he is also well known for personal empowerment as well as spirituality. He is a Certified International Professional Makeup Artist and he uses his primary and secondary account (@lunesartistry) to share his work with his followers and potential clients.
Edwin mentions that his target audience is mostly people who reside in Arizona (very well known for its multiculturalism), and who range in age between 16 to 27 years old. Edwin has studied his audience and has found that approximately 60% of his followers are women.
In the past, Edwin has worked with well-known brands including Axe, Old Spice, Fila, and Tostitos. He has also collaborated with agencies including Social Native and the Meraki Model Academy.
When we asked Edwin what makes his content different from other male influencers, he explained that having his own perspective, being relatable to his followers and doing things outside of the box when it comes to photo shoots and videos are what allows him to walk to the beat of his own drum.
