It’s breakfast time! Cereal brands are huddling up to be the chosen ones by consumers old and young alike. In this O.Y.E. Report, we perform a multicultural analysis of the most popular and best-selling cereal brands such as Cheerios, Froot Loops, Lucky Charms, and more. Insights provided include an update from our 2018 analysis of what diverse consumers thought about cereal brands and recent controversies these brands faced and the brands’ response to these issues. This analysis was extrapolated from a data set of 120,347 conversations on Twitter, of which 20,706 were from verified U.S. Hispanics and 9,483 were from verified Black Americans. All data was gathered from 3/23/2021 – 6/21/2021.
