When looking for quality handmade gifts, many people turn to Etsy or Shopify to find what they’re looking for. When looking for trendy vintage clothes, consumers often turn to either Poshmark or Depop to find the latest trend while staying sustainable. This short study takes an in-depth look at multicultural opinions on social commerce platforms.

The O.Y.E. tool was used in order to examine multicultural opinions on social commerce sites shared via social media. O.Y.E. segments this data into groups based on ethnicity, age, and language among many other filters. Download the free report now to understand what drove the conversation about social commerce.

Methodology

This analysis was extrapolated from a data set of 243,824 conversations on Twitter, of which 14,879 were from verified U.S. Hispanics and 11,450 were from verified Black Americans. All data was gathered from11/05/2020 – 11/11/2020.
