Streaming Services Multicultural Analysis

Project Description

Streaming your favorite movies and shows has never been more accessible! Your favorite shows are readily available with the abundance of streaming services available across a wide variety of devices. With the explosive popularity of Netflix, everybody wanted a piece of the pie so now there are a wide variety of services to choose from. As of March of 2022, it is estimated that 80% of U.S. households viewed some piece of content on a streaming service. Although there are many, in this multicultural analysis, the O.Y.E team chose to focus on the four most prominent household names to gain insight on Black American and U.S. Hispanic conversations surrounding these streaming services. This study serves as a compliment to previous streaming related studies such as ‘Diverse opinions on Squid Game‘ and ‘Top Streaming Device Brands.’

The chosen applications include Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and HBO Max. Though these services are offered internationally; the study has been specifically focused on conversation exclusively from United States customers. To effectively reach a wide range of conversation from these streaming services, top series from each one was chosen as part of the study. Disney’s Ms. Marvel, HBO Max’s Game of Thrones and more are included in our conversational analysis. Download the free Streaming Services Multicultural Analysis to find out more.
