Diverse Audience Opinions Surrounding Copa America
Project Description
In this multicultural analysis of Copa America, one of the oldest running soccer tournaments, we analyze online conversations by diverse audiences and learn what they have to say. The data analyzed is broken down by sentiment, age, gender, location among many other factors. This popular soccer tournament took place this summer scoring big with audiences in the U.S. and of course worldwide. Want to know what other sporting events competed for fans’ attention this summer? Methodology
This analysis was extrapolated from a data set of 39,844 conversations on Twitter, of which 25,097 were from verified U.S. Hispanics and 1,276 were from verified Black Americans. All data was gathered from 06/12/2021-07/12/2021.
