In the realm of online discourse surrounding gun control, this social listening report seeks to unravel the complex tapestry of conversations that unfold in digital spaces. By harnessing the expansive reach and immediacy of social media platforms, our analysis endeavors to capture the diverse range of sentiments, arguments, and personal narratives that emerge within this ongoing dialogue. Utilizing sophisticated social listening tools, we delve into the nuanced dynamics of discussions concerning public safety, constitutional rights, mental health, and societal values. Methodology
This analysis was extrapolated from a data set of 82,990 conversations on Twitter, of which 2,898 were from verified U.S. Hispanics and 608 were from verified Black Americans. All data was gathered from 10/11/2023 – 10/31/2023.
