As the NBA season comes to an end, people are talking about the upcoming NBA Playoffs and who they think will win in their respective conferences. In this report we analyzed conversations from Black and Hispanic basketball fans talking about four different teams; the Brooklyn Nets, the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Philadelphia 76ers. Methodology
This analysis was extrapolated from a data set of 332,545 conversations on Twitter, of which 58,633 were from verified U.S. Hispanics and 39,284 were from verified Black Americans. All data was gathered from 3/10/2021 – 4/9/2021.
