Diverse Conversations about the Most Popular Video Conference Apps
Project Description
The social distancing measures created due to COVID-19 have caused popular video conference apps to be used as an alternate means of communication. This technology has allowed people to work from home, even internationally. Recent attempts at reopening businesses and the economy have caused popular video conference apps to become a daily tool in order to communicate while still adhering to social distancing measures.
Insights derived from social conversation are developed by OYE provide key details into what video conference apps Hispanics use and discuss as well as their Black American peers. These insights are driven from multicultural consumers, through their own statements about brands.
Methodology
This analysis was extrapolated from a data set of 174,970 conversations on Twitter, of which 22,734 were from verified Hispanics and 12,171 were from verified Black Americans. All the data was gathered from 05/18/2020 – 06/17/2020.
