The San Diego Comic-Con is one of the most anticipated events of the year for all pop culture fans. In recent years, it has been estimated that nearly 200,000 attendees travel all the way to California to enjoy of all the activities that take place during the 5-day event, including first access to upcoming movie trailers, industry updates and other important announcements.

In this report, OYE! software was utilized to deliver Hispanic entertainment insights based on social media conversations on Twitter about the San Diego Comic-Con during the dates of July 18th – July 22nd, 2019. Insights cover ethnicity, language, location, category analysis, and top Hispanic influencers.

This analysis was extrapolated from a sample of 13,027 Twitter conversations online discussing this year’s San Diego Comic-Con of which 1,927 or approximately 14.8%, were from verified Hispanics.
